Height Wise Training Academy

Height Wise is a height safety consulting and training organisation that provides a variety of services related to work at height.

The major services provided by Height Wise are:

Training

Height Wise Training Academy provides many height safety courses from NQF Unit Standard based training to client specific customised training. NQF courses include fall arrest, rope access, fall protection plan development, mobile elevation platforms, scaffolding and ladders, and suspended access platforms.

The Training Academy is fully accredited with the Services SETA (Accreditation number 2439).

The Training Academy has also conducted courses in many African countries and in the Middle East.

Equipment sales

Height Wise Equipment Sales is a distributor and supplier of height safety related equipment. This includes items such as harnesses, fall arrest shock absorbers, lifelines, climbing helmets, ropes, slings etc.

Specialised Rigging

Height Wise Specialised Rigging provides services related to specialised rigging projects. Our experience relates mainly to entertainment rigging including lighting truss and grid rigging, sound system suspension, ground supported stage roof erecting, props and scenery suspension.

Height Safety and Fall Protection Plan consultation

Height Wise can assist clients in developing and implementing fall protection plans to comply with the South African Occupational Health and Safety Act. According to the OHS Act. any worksite where work is conducted from an elevated position requires a fall protection plan.
